Welcome

Spring Praise Fest FlyerAn idea that came to life in a church parking lot only a handful of years ago has become Brevard County’s largest annual non-denominational Christian music festival.

Spring Praise Fest 6 kicks off at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 17th at Riverfront Park in Cocoa and will culminate at 9:00 PM after a full day of music and family-friendly activities.  The public is invited to bring a blanket or lawn chair and enjoy the music of nine Brevard praise bands scheduled to perform in the Riverfront Park amphitheater.

Dynamic special guest speaker, Pastor Beau Difrenna, will address the crowd.  Difrenna is the teaching pastor and director of Fusion, the young adult ministry at Calvary Chapel in Melbourne

Onsite festival activities and attractions include a giant water slide and water park, bounce houses, face painting and assorted children’s crafts and games.

Admission is free for the expected 5,000 attendees.  Festival goers are encouraged to bring a canned good or non-perishable food item for donation to House of Hope for local hunger relief.

About Us

The Spring Praise Fest is held each year at the Riverfront Park in Cocoa Village, Cocoa, Florida.  It provides a very scenic and comfortable place to lounge and relax as people of all ages listen and experience some of the best contemporary Christian music Brevard County has to offer.  There are many bands and some additional exciting performances which intrigue everyone.

We always have activities for the kids, for example Bounce houses, face painting, water park, skate boarding, and games.  We have arts and crafts vendors who specialize in positive and uplifting products.  We also have food and drink vendors on hand.

Most people bring blankets, and/or lawn chairs to sit back, relax, and enjoy a family oriented day of music and celebration!

History

The dream of Chris Herrnkind, Mike Reed and Norm Channell came true on May 12, 2007, when the first Spring Praise Fest (SPF1) was born in the front parking lot of Riverside Presbyterian Church, Cocoa Beach.

It was the unified collaboration of six Brevard County praise bands, trying to make a difference in today’s music world, showing that it is OK to sing praises to our God, and that contemporary Christian music is relevant.  In today’s society, more and more people are looking for positive influences in their lives.

The Spring Praise Fest offers a free, family oriented, positive atmosphere in which anyone can come and enjoy some of the most talented musicians in Brevard County, as well as fun filled festivities for youths of all ages.
